Welcome to UNILIA REC
The UNILIA Research Ethics Committee (REC) is dedicated to upholding the highest ethical standards in research involving human and animal participants. Established in July 2021, we review proposals to protect participant rights and wellbeing.
Participant Protection
Safeguarding dignity, privacy, and safety of all participants, with special focus on vulnerable groups and ongoing monitoring.
Compliance
Adherence to Declaration of Helsinki, CIOMS guidelines, Malawi regulations, and UNILIA policies.
About UNILIA REC
Established in July 2021 under UNILIA Research Policy and NCST requirements. Our secretariat includes an Administrator and Compliance Officer.
